From a very young age I've always played video games. Everything form Super Mario to Call of Duty. It wasn't until fairly recently, that I started seeing video games as an art form and came to the conclusion that it is the very best medium to feel immersed in a story. Such games that brought this to light include Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, and Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic. Since getting married I have cut down on my hours of gaming, but it is still one of the first things I go to when I have some free time for my hobbies.
Recently, I started learning how to play the guitar. My Dad has always played the guitar and he's very very skilled. I always looked up to him for his dedication and talent (among a lot of other things I look up to him for). He got me my own guitar years ago but I never stayed with it but this time will be different. I have my wife encouraging me and keeping me accountable and so far I have learned how to play Eight Days A Week by The Beatles. Hopefully one day I will be able to jam out with my Father.
